The Center is engaged in ongoing efforts to generate planning and feasibility studies both as a service to our many clients in the housing sector and as part of an effort to offer alternative, "smart growth" patterns for more compact, livable, and affordable housing developments and communities in the region. Studies vary from housing on small infill lots to large-scale, transit-oriented mixed-use and mixed-income developments. In addition, the Center is engaged in planning studies with cities and tribes to generate master plans and revitalization plans for both urban and rural areas in the region to offer innovative ways of incorporating affordable housing into the community or preserving existing affordable housing.
