Driving Directions

From the east valley, take I-10 west (Los Angeles), exit 7th Street south and turn right at Van Buren St.
From the west valley, take I-10 east (Tucson), exit 7th Avenue south, and turn left at Van Buren St.
From north Phoenix, take SR-51 south to I-10 west, exit 7th Street south and turn right at Van Buren St.

Public Transportation

The Stardust Center is easily accessible by the new Metro light rail system. Please use the Central Station stop (Central Avenue and Van Buren Street), located across Van Buren from the Stardust Center, directly to the north. Most bus lines also access the Central Station as well. Passes are good for both light rail and bus systems. Schedules can be viewed on www.valleymetro.org.

Parking information:

There are several pay garages and lots in downtown Phoenix. The nearest garage is the Ampco Autoramp Garage that can be accessed from Van Buren Street between Central Avenue and First Avenue, across from the Central Bus Station, and from First Avenue and west of the Security Building. Two less-expensive public surface lots are on the Northwest corner of Polk Street and Central Avenue (410 N Central Avenue), and the Northwest corner of Van Buren Street and 1st Avenue, north of the Compass Bank building (324 N 1st Avenue).

Students, faculty, and staff with ASU parking decals from any campus can use the ASU Downtown Campus lot at 320 N. 4th Avenue (about 4 blocks west of the Stardust Center, just north of Van Buren). Please click here to view the ASU downtown parking map.

The Stardust Center is located on the Downtown Phoenix campus of Arizona State University. The center occupies the 9th floor of the historic Security Building on the southwest corner of Central Avenue and Van Buren Street. Enter the Security Building through the Public Entrance on Central Avenue, and take the elevator on the far right to the 9th floor. If you take one of the other elevators to the 8th floor, you will need to use the stairs right across the elevator to get to the ninth floor.
